The Academia Training Contract

A salaried year-long programme designed for fresh graduates to ensure that you gain the necessary skills and breadth of experience needed to confidently tutor and advise students at the level expected at Academia. You will be trained in Academia's curriculum, co-teach with experienced teachers across various teams, and complete a fully-paid Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from an accredited UK university.

Curriculum and Teaching Department

Experienced teachers are invited to apply for our lateral hire scheme. We also consider a wide range of academic, corporate, legal, and professional careers as relevant experience, evaluating each application on a case-by-case basis.

Management and Administration Office

The Management and Administration Office includes a number of essential roles that work together to support our teachers and improve the experiences and outcomes of our students and parents.

For Current Students

Academia offers a structured internship programme which starts in January, May, and August each year. The programme runs between 3 to 6 months and allows students to find out more about teaching, curriculum development, design, and operations. Students in our internship programme are considered favorably for conversion into our Training Contract or other full-time roles upon graduation.
